Betty Jane Wolverton, 92, of American Falls, Idaho, passed from this Earth to be with the Lord Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 at 4:48PM at Brookdale Assisted Living, Pocatello, Idaho, where she resided for the past 14 years.
Betty was born in Sanger, California on August 7, 1925 to Evelyn Galliher Scott and George Scott. She was preceded in death by her father George Middleton Scott; born in Malad Idaho, 5/29/1887, and passed 11/27/1961 and her mother Evelyn Galliher born, 12/13/1898 in Sublett Idaho, and passed 11/01/1985. Her ex-husband's James Dudley (Bill) Bullen who passed May 6, 1991, and Clyde D. Wolverton who passed June 7, 2017. Her beloved daughter Carol Ann Bullen who passed in 1955, beloved son Douglas Wayne Bullen who passed in 1957, beloved son Guy Charles Bullen who passed in 1986, beloved grandson Charles Geoffrey Bullen who passed in 1982 and her beloved brothers George Harold Scott who passed 2/8/1999 and LeRoy Earl Scott, who passed 7/11/2002 and her beloved nephew Leslie Jay Johnston who passed in 2001.
Betty was an aircraft riveter during WWII and won 2nd place in an air queen beauty contest when she was in her early 20's. She retired from Lamb Weston in 1990, she was an avid reader, loved animals and her family. Her beauty, charm and cheerful wit will be missed by all.
She is survived by her beloved daughter's Cheryl Bullen of Wappingers Falls, NY and Sherry Wolverton of American Falls, Idaho. Her granddaughter Jamie Zahraie-Armin and her husband Payman of Santa Clara California, grandson Eric Perez and his wife Rika of Iwakuni Japan, granddaughter Jessica Perez of Twin Falls Idaho, granddaughter Amy Perez of Aberdeen Idaho, and grandson Shane Wright, of Poughkeepsie, NY. Also, great grandchildren Keon, Naveed, Diamante, Andres, Neema, Aareon and Christopher. Her sister, Kathleen Scott Fox and her daughters Laurie Johnston Pulse & Renae Johnston and their families. Her brother Harold Scott son’s, David Scott and Brian Scott and her brother LeRoy Earl Scott son's Truel Scott and Robert Scott and their families.
