Alan Fehringer, born on March 5, 1959, in American Falls, Idaho, entered into eternal rest on May 4, 2025, in the same beloved hometown. He was 66 years old at the time of his passing, which was due to natural causes.
Alan was dedicated to farm life, a vocation that brought him joy and fulfillment. He took great pride in his work and wore many different hats throughout his lifetime. He was universally known for his kindness and willingness to lend a hand. His involvement in the community was exemplified through his regular support at 4-H fairs. Alan cherished the simple pleasures of life, often seen taking leisurely drives around the county, and had a profound appreciation for the outdoors. Camping trips with his children were among his treasured memories.
He had a real knack for collecting old things, especially anything with a Western vibe, and those wooden pieces and pens his dad made – he really loved those. Alan had a warm way about him that made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. He was great at remembering the important things, always making a call for birthdays and anniversaries.
Alan is survived by his children, Ben (Tara) Fehringer, Lee (Chelsy) Fehringer, and Heidi (Andrew) Kerr, and his father, Mark Fehringer. He is also survived by his siblings: Donna (Ray) Polzin, Rick (Peggy) Fehringer, Joyce (Mike) Lopez, Jane (Ron) Brug, and Janice Fehringer. His 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews will keep his memory alive.
He's now with his loving mother, Ginger Fehringer, who passed before him.
We're getting together to celebrate Alan's life on May 10, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the American Falls City Park, North Pavilion, located at 352 Harrison Street, American Falls, ID, 83211.
