Annette "Ann" Nielson Brumfield

Annette "Ann" Nielson Brumfield was born in Alabama in 1939. At the age of five, her family relocated to Arkansas, a place she proudly called home. Following her high school graduation, Ann moved to Waukegan, Illinois, where she met and married her first husband, Don Nielson, in 1959. Together, they were blessed with two children, Daniel and Jeanne, and later welcomed two cherished grandsons, Matthew and Scott.

Ann’s life was marked by love and family. After the passing of Don in 2007, she married John “Dale” Brumfield in 2012, who passed away in 2014. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, her beloved daughter Jeanne, and her grandson Matthew.

She is survived by her son Daniel Nielson; son-in-law Don Anderson; grandson Scott (Ashley) Anderson; great-grandsons Everett and Cooper; three brothers and four sisters; and three "bonus children"—Donnie, Donna, and Cyndi—who brought joy to her life.

A visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. on Thursday April 16, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in American Falls. The funeral will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Falls View Cemetery.
