Christine Duffin Wride

Christine Duffin Wride, wife of Barton Wride, on August 21, 2025, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior and family and friends who went before her. Christine loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved her family immensely and was so very proud of each of them. What made her happiest was serving them. In life she was a fabulous homemaker. She maintained an orderly, happy home. She loved to sew and made countless outfits for her daughters, costumes for all of her children and grandchildren, and ended life making Minky blankets for her grandchildren on their high school graduations. She was famous for her homemade bread and rolls. She was an excellent farm truck driver and made harvest beautiful. She served in many capacities in her church and as an ordinance worker in the Idaho Falls temple.

Christine is survived by her husband Bart Wride; son, Caid Wride (and Amy); daughter, Simonette Ralphs (and Paul); daughter, Sembur Casper (and Troy); daughter, Camby Hill (and Daniel); daughter, Selena Hreinson (and Dustin); son, Colum Wride (and Jaclyn); father, L. Keith Duffin (and Louise, deceased); brother, Stan Duffin; brother, Ray Duffin; sister, Karen Mecham; sister, Sandra Permann; sister, Janilee Palmer; 29 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, at 11:00am, at the LDS church in Aberdeen, Idaho. A viewing before will begin at 10:00-10:45 a.m.  An additional viewing will be held Wednesday, August 27, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Family and friends are invited to visit DavisRoseMortuary.com to order flowers, or to share condolences, memories, and photos.
