Donna Irene Littlefield Jensen

August 2, 1961 — January 13, 2024

Rupert

Donna Irene Littlefield Jensen, 62 of Rupert, Idaho, was called back to her heavenly home on January 13, 2024, the perfect day to lay down her burdens and begin an everlasting rest.  She was at home when her tired heart stopped.  She is survived by her husband and two siblings.

August 2, 1961, was a beautiful, sunny, day in Pocatello, Idaho when the Littlefield family had their lives brightened and filled with joy at the birth of precious little Donna.

Raymond and Hazel Littlefield were thrilled to add another little girl to the already large family of 5 boys and 2 girls (Charlie, Harold, Ron, Alvin, Jane, Carol, and Carl).  Because she was 11 years younger than her next older sibling, she was welcomed as their brand-new toy.  She filled their lives with fun, adventure, and pure joy.  With her big smile and contagious laughter, her presence was a gift to everyone around her.  Her quick wit brightened everyone’s day.

She attended Aberdeen schools and later held many positions of responsibility throughout her career.  Her work ethic was of the highest caliber, with employers commenting on how dependable and hardworking she was.

She married young after meeting her husband-to-be, Brian Jensen, at the Pocatello racetrack.  Though Donna batted her eyelashes and flirted with the finest of intentions, Brian was so shy, it took friends on both sides to get them together.  They were married November 24, 1978, in American Falls, Idaho.  They were not blessed with children of their own, but Donna was loving and caring to her nieces and nephews, who deeply reciprocated that love.

After living in many different places, including Nevada and Wyoming, Donna and Brian came back to settle permanently in Rupert, Idaho.  It was here that they celebrated 46 years of marriage.  They walked through the years together weathering the storms of life, the sorrows, and the celebrations.

She outlived her parents, and all her brothers and sisters, except for Ron Littlefield of Pocatello, Idaho and Jane Simonson from Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Donna cheered unceasingly for the underdog, for truth, right and justice.  She was kind and thoughtful, surrounding herself with people who needed the gifts she willingly shared.  She was a special blessing, a dear and loyal friend, and a faithful and dedicated follower of Jesus Christ.
