Jerry Wageman

April 11, 1954 — August 31, 2025

American Falls

Jerry Ray Wageman was born on April 11,1954 In Jerome, Idaho. He passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 31, 2025, which his sons felt was appropriate as it was opening day of hunting season.

He lived in Boise, Idaho all of his life until he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to further his education at Utah State Community College.

He married Cenia Neibaur on March 17, 1979. They moved to American Falls, ID. in 1980, where he joined Cenia's father and brothers on the family farm, Grant Neibaur & Sons. He farmed with them until his retirement in 2019.

His passion was his children and grandchildren, along with all the young people that passed through his home over many years, creating bonds that have lasted to this day. Babies, children, and young people were naturally drawn to him, as his love was pure and uncomplicated for them. The innocence of youth were able to look past his gruff demeanor and see the tenderness beneath.

He is survived by his wife Cenia; his sons and daughters-in-laws (his bonus daughters): Jason (Shonda), Jeremiah (Karla), Cody (Kendra), Dustin (Jesse), Joshua (Noel), Mark (Brenda); his stepmother, Loretta Lewis; his siblings Lowell and Lyndia Townley, Mike and Lani Wageman, John Lewis, Kathy Schoessler and Dugan Sorenson, Sandy and Doug Allison, Lane and Geri Lewis, Judy and Rick Wilcox; Seventeen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Velma Wageman, Harvey Lewis. A brother, Gail Lewis, a sister, Charlotte Wageman. A grandson Ty William Wageman. Nephews Matthew Townley, Jeremy Evans.
