Jerry Ray Wageman was born on April 11,1954 In Jerome, Idaho. He passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 31, 2025, which his sons felt was appropriate as it was opening day of hunting season.
He lived in Boise, Idaho all of his life until he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to further his education at Utah State Community College.
He married Cenia Neibaur on March 17, 1979. They moved to American Falls, ID. in 1980, where he joined Cenia's father and brothers on the family farm, Grant Neibaur & Sons. He farmed with them until his retirement in 2019.
His passion was his children and grandchildren, along with all the young people that passed through his home over many years, creating bonds that have lasted to this day. Babies, children, and young people were naturally drawn to him, as his love was pure and uncomplicated for them. The innocence of youth were able to look past his gruff demeanor and see the tenderness beneath.
