John Wilbur Duffer

John Wilbur Duffer passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 after an aggressive battle with metastatic stage 4 lung cancer. He passed at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was not only a beloved son, brother, father, and friend; but a hard worker, a mentor, and an honest man. He was an incredible wood worker who's work brought joy to many.

John was born on May 4, 1950, in Dallas, Texas. He was one of four sons (including James Jr., Jack, and Joe) to Ruby Pearl Adams and James Edward Duffer. John is survived by his wife Kay Duffer and sons Jeffery Duffer, Brian Duffer, and Jason Duffer.

The Visitation will be at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St, American Falls, ID 83211, on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at 10 am. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. with friends and family sharing memories of John.

Burial will be at the Falls View Cemetery.
