Joyce Ann Baird Bowen age 71 died on Monday March 4th 2013 in Blackfoot. She was born September 21, 1941 in Pocatello Idaho to Leo J and Ethel Marie Batterton Sorensen.

She was the oldest of four. She loved to crochet, she could make anything out of yarn and a hook. She loved planting flowers and working in the garden. She loved going shopping with her grandson, Cody and she loved family gatherings with her loved ones.

She married Warren Miller in 1959 and lived in Burley, Idaho. They later divorced and she moved back to American Falls, Idaho. There she met Sonny Baird and married. She worked at Lamb Weston for 10 years. They later divorced and she moved to Montana where she lived and worked at Lincoln Gift Shop for many years. She loved all the beauty of Montana. She moved back home to American Falls going back to work at Lamb Weston until her health got the best of her and she then retired.

She is survived by her three children, Ward (Trina) Miller, Todd (Deon) Miller and Penni Baird Simpkins (Curtis) Crosland.  Also by her grandchildren, Takisha (Chuck) Lunsford, Scott, Kristina and Jordan Miller, Khandyce, Anisha and Micheal Miller, Cody (Kailey), Martin (Sara) and Stormey (Darwin) Simpkins, Crystal, Tim, Santana and Kiara Crosland, and by thirteen great grandchildren. Siblings Gary, Craig (Patty) Sorensen and Susan (Mark) Love. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Keith Miller; two step children, Martin and Janette Baird.

Memorial Services will be held at Power House Christian Fellowship Thursday March, 7th at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls.
