LeAnn Anderson

LeAnn Anderson, born on February 12, 1955, in American Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, in Bountiful, Utah, surrounded by her loved ones. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, LeAnn was known for her warmth and kindness, embodying a spirit that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

LeAnn graduated from American Falls High School in 1973 and promptly began her career at Harms Memorial Hospital in the admissions office. She later transitioned to the medical records department, where she worked as a coder for an impressive 22 years. Her expertise led her to Bannock Memorial Hospital, which became Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. After a dedicated career, LeAnn retired in 2018 as the director and trainer of the medical records department, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and leadership.

Beyond her professional achievements, LeAnn loved the outdoors. She embraced life with enthusiasm, engaging in hunting, fishing, and camping. She did not shy away from any adventure. She played a crucial role in organizing family outings to Island Park, Idaho, and many other areas where cherished memories were always made. The joy of spending time with her family and friends meant everything to her, and she was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

LeAnn is survived by her loving husband, Ron, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. She leaves behind her children, Ronalie (Nate) Gerrie of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Ryan (Sarah) Anderson of Pocatello, Idaho, as well as her stepdaughter, Tara Row of American Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy (Jim) Tallman of Liberty, Kansas, and her brothers, Mike (Sherry) Nelson of Yakima, Washington, and Bob (Janelle) Nelson of American Falls, ID. She was a cherished grandmother to Cody, Wyatt, Natalie, Gracee, Brynlee, and two great-grandchildren, Boe and Kylan, along with many wonderful nieces and nephews.

LeAnn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alma (Beechnut) and Betty Nelson, as well as her grandparents and many aunts and uncles. Her legacy of love, care, and dedication to family will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

LeAnn's unwavering spirit, laughter, and love will be missed dearly but will live on in the hearts of her family and everyone she touched throughout her life.
