Linda Lee Armstrong

       Linda Lee Armstrong, 67, passed away July 14, 2011 from complications of the liver.  Linda Lee Armstrong was born in April 14, 1944 to Thurman Alfred Kidd and Mildred Sarah Williams Kidd.

She married Lucian Joseph Armstrong in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 22, 1963.

She is survived by her husband Lucian (Lute) of American Falls, a daughter Lisa (Ben) Bullock of Meridian, Idaho; sons Lucian Neal (Nadine) Armstrong of Shelley, Idaho, Lance (Kari) Armstrong of Meridian Idaho and Lane (Christy) Armstrong of Meridian, Idaho. She has two surviving sisters, Norma Jean (Allen) Hardy of Boring, Oregon and Carol (Larry) Barksdale, Burley Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thurman and Mildred Kidd, a brother Glen Thurman Kidd.

She graduated from Burley High School where she was active in Bell Cantos and choir.

Linda was an active member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. She served in many callings within the church, she enjoyed her Relief Society callings and the Sisters that she associated with. She loved music and singing in the choir.

Above all, she loved her family and spending time with them and the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda worked for the American Falls School District as a teacher’s aide for 11 years and enjoyed working with Mrs. Debbie Curry and the 4th and 5th grade students. She will miss them.

Her other love was working with her husband in Lucian’s Photography, a business they started in 1967 later building a studio onto their home in 1982. She was active in Professional Photographers of Idaho along with her husband. They had many experiences together photographing weddings, families, little league sports and seniors. She had a special way of getting smiles from stubborn kids. She will be greatly missed as a partner and helpmate.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 11:00 at the LDS Stake Center, 111 Church Place in American Falls. There will be a viewing at the church from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM before the service.

Also Tuesday evening there will be a viewing from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Davis-Rose Mortuary in American Falls.
