Linda Vollmer

Linda Marie Vollmer 63 died Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Edgewood Spring Creek Assisted Living following an illness.

She was born January 1, 1963 in Pocatello Idaho to Earl and Ardith Vollmer. Linda was a graduate of American Falls High School class of 1981.

On September 15, 1990 she married John Henry Phillips in Aberdeen, Idaho. They were later divorced.

Following graduation she was employed at Lamb Weston Inc. in American Falls. Linda later left for medical reasons.  She moved to Pocatello and lived there several years.

Linda was a lifetime member of First Mennonite Church of Aberdeen, Idaho. For many years Linda welcomed her church family as the Sunday school greeter. She enjoyed holding the door for others and welcoming them with a smile and friendly hello.

Linda enjoyed reading, knitting, beading, solving puzzles and was a regular at her favorite café Butter Burr’s.

Linda is survived by her father and mother Earl and Ardith Vollmer of American Falls Idaho, sister Deborah (Timothy) Rudeen of American Falls ID, brother Brent ( Elizabeth) Vollmer of Pocatello ID, brother David (Lynn) Vollmer of Sugarland TX , sister Mary (Dale) Morrical of American Falls ID, eight nieces, four nephews and three great nieces.

A memorial service will be held at a later date when family can all attend.
