Twin Falls

Lois Mamie (Miller) March born on January 8, 1930, in American Falls, Idaho to Ancil Vernon Miller and Wilma Agnes Sherrod.  She was the 4th of 13 children.

She married Harold Andrew at the age of 20 and had two sons, Larry Ray and Marvin Dean; they divorced and she remarried in 1956 to Vyrlen March and he adopted both boys.

Lois had a great variety of talents, from creating beautiful quilts, crocheting afghans to playing endless hour of games such as Dominos, Rummy Cube, Pinochle, Tripoli, Marbles, and Puzzles to name a few.  She canned a lot of things during the summers.  She was known for her volunteer work as a “pink lady” at Power County Hospital and enjoyed bowling and played many years on bowling leagues.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Fern, Betty, Noreen, brothers Earl, Floyd, Lloyd, Lester and son Marvin. She is survived by her son Larry, wife Joanna, granddaughters Jessica and Kirsten; granddaughter Monica, great-granddaughters Morgan and Brooklyn, and great-grandson Nick, Sisters Remo, Martha and Laura Mae, brothers Vernon and Charlie.

A visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Monday, May 8 at American Falls Community Church.  The funeral will follow, beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be that Falls View Cemetery.  To order flowers, or to share condolences, memories, and photos, please visit DavisRoseMortuary.com.
