Michael Shane Doty

Michael was born to Herbert and Janice Doty in Portland, Oregon.  He passed away in Portland at the OHSU Hospital after a courageous and difficult three year battle with multiple-myeloma cancer. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and both sets of grandparents.  He is survived by his father, Herbert Doty, American Falls, ID; brother, Gregory Doty, Gaston, OR; his aunt and uncle, Nina and Bob Walker, Beaverton, OR; his great aunt, Elsie Jacokes, Jerome, ID and their families.

He loved the outdoors and spent many memorable hours camping, hunting, motorcycling or 4 wheeling with his dog, Nakota and his many good friends.  Michael was a hard worker, good son and a committed friend.  He is truly missed and may he finally rest in peace.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Falls View Cemetery in American Falls with Rev. Jon M. Beake, Pastor, St. John’s Lutheran Church officiating.  Services are under the direction of Davis-Rose Mortuary.
