Rockland, Idaho

Ronna Grosscurth, born Ronna Briggs, passed away on August 29, 2026, in Rockland, Idaho, at the age of 71. She was born on April 20, 1955, in Rexburg, Idaho, and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a woman whose warmth and energy touched many lives.

Ronna graduated from American Falls High School in 1973 and continued her education at LDS business school, graduating in 1975. She went on to become a very successful businesswoman, running several businesses from her homes in Kuna and Meridian, Idaho.  Ronna was one of the largest international freight forwarders; responsible for getting cow hides from all over the western US states to the Asian markets for use in shoes and other leather goods manufacturing.  Among her proudest accomplishments was building the Castle Gardens in Kuna, where weddings and other special events were catered. She loved meeting new people, working with the public, and helping make special days memorable and beautiful for the couples and families she served.

On June 11, 2005, she married her husband, Jim Grosscurth. Together they shared years of companionship and love. Ronna also found joy in life’s simple and lasting pleasures. She loved watching football and basketball, and after moving to Rockland in 2022, she became a proud Rockland Bulldog fan. She especially loved camping and fishing with friends and enjoyed traveling to new places throughout Idaho and the surrounding states. Those who knew her will remember the happiness she found in the outdoors and the enthusiasm she brought to the things she loved.

Family was at the heart of Ronna’s life. She is survived by her husband, Jim Grosscurth; her daughter, Lyndee Anderson and her husband Ryan; and her son, CJ Martin and his wife Stephanie. She also leaves behind her sisters Debbie and Pam; her sister Leanne and her husband Kim; her brother Kevin and his wife Cammie; her sister Robyn and her husband Larry; and her sister Leisa and her husband Darin. Ronna was also a proud grandmother to Toree, Joel, Nick, Sean, Will, Ace, Grace, and L.A. Their lives are part of the legacy she leaves behind, and her love for her family will continue to be felt in the years ahead.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kay and Georgia Briggs.
