Teresa Delgado

Teresa Sanchez Delgado, 90, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home. She was born in Linares, Nuevo Leon Mexico on July 31, 1931 to Maria de Jesus and Jose Garcia.

She married Raul Delgado on October 11, 1950. They lost two babies and had other children including Raul Jr., Teresa, Oscar, Ernesto, Jorge, Eluith, Ruth, Eleazar, Elizabeth and Gilbert.

Our parents traveled back and forth from Mexico to the U.S. and across the country before settling in American Falls, Idaho, where they lived the majority of their lives.
Mom loved flowers. Her favorite hobby was taking care of her roses and dahlias. During the summer months, she would spend many daylight hours working in her flower beds while dad took care of the yard and garden.

Mom was also an amazing cook! Her love for all who entered her home was passed forward in her food. Anyone who walked in their home always left with a full belly.
She was an amazing mother and wife. Spicy and yet spiritually strong! We are honored and thankful to have had her as our mom.

A Visitation and Rosary will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, American Falls, Idaho. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
