William Robert Putnam Sr., 61, of American Falls, Idaho, passed away on December 24th, 2021, unexpectedly.
William, known to most as Billy, was born in Pocatello on October 22nd, 1960. He was raised on Marsh Creek by his mother along with his 6 siblings. Billy graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1978. As a child Billy most enjoyed causing mischief with his older brother, Richard. Their favorite mischief was tormenting their 5 sisters.
Billy has been a hard-working man all his life. He was a package operator for Lamb Weston, where he started working in January of 1991. Billy remained a dedicated worker for Lamb Weston for 40 years.
When Billy was not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Dallas Cowboys football. Billy was a proud father and was looking forward to retirement so that he could spend more time with his children that he loved with all his heart.
Billy was proceeded in death by his mother, Helen Pearl Bennet; his father Gary Campau; a sister Debbie Deavila and a brother Kenny Campau. Billy leaves behind his four children, Stephanie Sealon Putnam, William Robert Putnam Jr, Ty Putnam, and Preston James Putnam. He also leaves behind several siblings, many friends and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 28th, 2021, at the 1 p.m. at 650 Pocatello Ave, American Falls Idaho.
